Finished the handrails in the back. They need paint and some dressing, but they are basically done. Ran into some concealment issues with the lights that give the lightning effect in Thunder Hall, but managed to overcome them with an impromptu wall build. Would like to say I accomplished more than I did today, but it is what it is. Ran some audio tests and my receiver is acting up. It likes to cut out, but it stopped doing so and works fine if I place it on its side. /boggle! It was a $50 Craig's List buy a couple years ago. Looking to the same source to pick up another one at a reasonable price.
Made an end of night trip to Lowe's just after 8 only to discover they close at 8 p.m. on Sunday. Here in Temecula, otherwise known as Pleasantville, the town is in bed when the sun goes down. Sometimes I forget.
